Zikorail is a WhatsApp AI marketing and sales platform operated by Zikorail, a company registered in Nigeria. When we say "Zikorail", "we", "us", or "our" in this policy, we mean Zikorail.

2. Information We Collect
We collect information in two ways:
- Account information — your name, business name, phone number, and billing details when you sign up.
- Platform usage data — WhatsApp conversation history, contact details, campaign results, briefings, catalogue items, and all content you create within your workspace.
- Customer message content — messages sent by your customers to your WhatsApp number are received, stored, and processed by our AI models to generate replies on your behalf. This is the core function of the service.
- Technical information — browser type and usage patterns used to maintain platform security and performance.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate and deliver the Zikorail platform to your business
- Process subscription payments through Paystack
- Send you account-related notifications and support responses
- Improve the platform based on how it is used
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your data or your customers' data to any third party.
4. Your Customers' Data
When you use Zikorail, your customers' WhatsApp messages and contact details are processed on your behalf. You remain the data controller for your customers' information. We act as a data processor and handle that data only as instructed by your use of the platform.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process your customers' data and that your use of Zikorail complies with applicable privacy laws.
5. WhatsApp Message Data and AI Processing
The core function of Zikorail is to read incoming WhatsApp messages and generate AI-powered replies on your behalf. This means:
- All WhatsApp messages sent to your business number — by your customers — are received, stored, and read by our platform.
- Message content (text, images, PDFs, voice transcripts) is transmitted to third-party AI providers (DeepSeek, Google Gemini, Anthropic) to generate a reply. These providers process the content under their own privacy policies.
- Conversation history is stored on our servers to give the AI context across multiple messages in a conversation.
- As the business owner, you are responsible for informing your customers that their messages are handled by an AI system and may be processed by third-party AI services.
We do not use message content for advertising, model training by us, or any purpose other than generating a reply on your behalf.
6. Data Storage and Security
Your workspace data is stored on secure dedicated servers located in Germany, operated by Contabo GmbH. We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, access controls, and regular database backups. All data in transit between your browser and our servers is encrypted via TLS/HTTPS.
While we take security seriously, no system is 100% secure. We encourage you to use strong passwords and keep your account credentials safe.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel, your data is retained for 30 days before deletion, giving you time to export anything you need. Billing records may be kept longer as required by Nigerian financial regulations.
8. Third-Party Services
Zikorail integrates with the following third-party services to operate:
- Paystack — payment processing. Their privacy policy applies to payment data.
- DeepSeek — primary AI provider for generating text-based customer replies. Customer message content is transmitted to DeepSeek servers to generate responses.
- Google Gemini — AI provider for analysing images, PDFs, and media sent by your customers. Media content is transmitted to Google's servers for analysis.
- Anthropic Claude — fallback AI provider used when DeepSeek or Gemini are unavailable. Message content may be transmitted to Anthropic's servers in fallback situations.
- Contabo — dedicated server hosting provider for data storage and processing.
9. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Export your contact and conversation data
